As the most award winning band in HISD, our program helps enrich the lives of all of our band members. With current district financial setbacks, we need your help in continuing to do the work that we do to serve our students and our community. Your support will transform the lives of these young musicians.

Funds raised go towards instrument maintenance and repair, travel expenses, marching band props and production, performance entry fees, and private lessons and clinicians (providing students with one-on-one lessons with professionals; and bringing in professionals to work with the entire ensemble).

The Waltrip High School Ram Band Booster Club is committed to removing financial barriers so every student has the opportunity to participate in our award-winning band program. Through our Sponsor a Ram Band Member initiative, your generosity helps cover the annual cost of participation including band dues, equipment, uniforms, competition entry fees, clinician workshops, and a ticket to our end-of-year awards banquet.

Our goal is to fully sponsor 20 students during the 2026–2027 school year, ensuring they can focus on developing their musical talents, building leadership skills, and creating lifelong memories instead of worrying about finances. The annual cost to sponsor one student is $524, and we gratefully welcome both full and partial sponsorships. Every gift, no matter the amount, brings us one step closer to ensuring every Ram has the opportunity to march, perform, and belong.
