JAZZ @ 1900 FESTIVAL
​​The Jazz @ 1900 Festival was established in 2007 and serves as the premiere jazz festival in the Central Houston area. Local ES, MS, & HS jazz ensembles are provided an opportunity to showcase their skills for a diverse panel of judges and the local community. Each year, the Jazz@1900 Festival closes with a concert featuring a guest artist.

CONCERT BAND FESTIVAL
Created in 1986 by Mr. Charles J. Stephens, the Waltrip Concert Band Festival is one of Texas' largest concert/sight-reading festivals with a number of performing groups from local high school, middle school, and elementary school bands/orchestras. In preparation for U.I.L. Concert/Sight Reading, our festival helps to give tips and special adjudication in order to better and prepare bands. Special thanks to our judges, all participating bands, Waltrip Band supporters, Waltrip High School Administration, as well as our family and friends for supporting this festival.
