Re: 2011 Spring Band Trip to Orlando FL
Please be advised that the Waltrip HS Band will be going to the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, FL, June 8, 2011 - June 12, 2011 to participate in the Disney Performing Arts Program. Through the years past, this Annual Band Trip has served as a very valuable experience to members of the Waltrip HS band, both musical and educational. The trip will cost $575.00 per student, which includes some meals and accommodations. Some of the itinerary items on the Band’s stay in Orlando includes: visits to the Disney World Resort, Universal Studios Islands of Adventure, and Old Town to name a few. In addition to visiting these educational sites, the band will have a performance for professional musicicans/clinicians provided by the Disney Performing Arts Department. The band trip will be highly chaperoned by some of our own Band Parents that have cleared a background security check thru HISD. Please keep in mind there will be more specific information to come in the near future. I encourage you to support your child and the Waltrip Band to help make this trip a success.

Bandtrip Payments
The cost of the Florida trip has been projected as $575. Each Band Member will contribute to the complete trip cost. This will be done through individual fundraiser credit and personal funds.
Four (4) Trip payments are due on the following dates:
